We're celebrating 元宵节 (Yuánxiāo Jié), the Lantern Festival🌕 , at CPAA Arts Center on Saturday, March 7th | 4–6 PM! FREE ADMISSION!

What is the Lantern Festival? It marks the final day of the traditional Lunar New Year celebration, falling on the 15th day of the first lunar month, when the first full moon of the new year appears. Dating back over 2,000 years, it's a time for families to reunite, carry glowing lanterns, solve riddle games, and share tangyuan (sweet rice dumplings) as a symbol of togetherness and good fortune.

Come celebrate with us! We will have arts & cultural performances, free tea and tangyuan, kid-friendly arts & crafts stations, and a raffle to support CPAA.

Donations at stations and booths are greatly appreciated. Whether you're familiar with the tradition or experiencing it for the first time, come share in the joy of community and culture with us!
